Minecraft Earth deploys early access in France

The saga of Mojang is celebrating its comeback on smartphones and tablets with Minecraft Earth. The game has just arrived in France and players can immerse themselves in the cubic universe of the license via augmented reality.

Pending the release of Minecraft Dungeons on Xbox One and Windows 10 next April, Microsoft has launched the advance access of Minecraft Earth on mobile media. This free-to-play is downloadable for free on iOS and Android. Of course, this is a version under development but the content is rather rich.

Microsoft wants his piece of cake
Minecraft Earth takes again the concept popularized by Pokémon Go. The player must therefore walk to explore the universe of the title and to find rewards. Users who have tested private beta can enjoy various new features through this early access. First, we have Adventures that are playable in RA and limited in time. Finally, cooking, crafts and mobs are also emerging.

In its release, Microsoft extols the merits of its Azure Spatial Anchors technology which is in charge of the persistence of the game world and augmented reality experiences. As for dedicated Azure PlayFab servers, they simply manage the multiplayer dimension of the app.
